"Evangelist Jim Reinking presented his 'Reawakening God's People" revival series at the Cheney SDA Church over a period of nearly two years. During this period of time, he spoke nearly once a month, except during months when he was holding evangelistic series at three different local SDA churches. Jim’s presentations were accompanied by very good PowerPoint slides and handout notes with Bible texts and quotations from Ellen White. He is a very good speaker. He has a very good command of the English Language, yet uses words that all could clearly understand regardless of their level of education. He always conducted himself as a Christian gentleman. He has very good stage presence and holds the attention of the congregation. I am at least a 4th generation Seventh-day Adventist and Jim’s presentations always rang true to the good old Adventist Message that I have heard and love so much and at the same time he preaches with an urgency and enthusiasm that is contagious. A young woman, who grew up in the mission field, and now has a young family of her own, said to me after Jim’s sermon on "Righteousness by Faith" that it was the best sermon on "Righteousness by Faith" that she had ever heard. I had to agree with her. Any church that is fortunate enough to have Jim present a series of sermons at their church will never regret it, I can promise you that." ---Lester W.
