About

Jim Reinking

Jim accepted Jesus as his personal Savour through baptism at 12 years of age, as a result of evangelistic meetings.  During his junior year at Auburn Adventist Academy he began to sense a call into ministry and made a deeper commitment to the Lord Jesus.

He enrolled in the ministerial program at Walla Walla University and graduated with a major in Theology and a minor in Biblical Languages.  While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Jim was a student leader of a revival at Walla Walla University, with students gathering nightly seeking a deeper experience in Jesus' love and praying for revival on campus.  Prayer has been an important part of his ministry and ongoing revival work ever since.

Upon graduating, he accepted a call into pastoral ministry.  After his initial internship, he continued his education at Andrews University, where he graduated from the seminary with a Masters of Divinity and then proceeded to Loma Linda University, where he received a Masters in Public Health.

After several years as a pastor, he was called into evangelistic work and became a conference evangelist in a succession of several conferences.  He was eventually invited by H.M.S. Richards, Jr. to join the Voice of Prophecy ministry where he served as an evangelist for 13 years, traveling widely in proclaiming the "everlasting gospel."  He has conducted some 128 full message evangelistic series and in the process has led several thousand individuals to accept Jesus through baptism and into the church.  He has planted churches here in the U.S. and in Russia.  Through the years as an evangelist, he continued his ministry as a revivalist, developing his "Reawakening God's People" revival series.  He was the past president and founder of the "Adventist Theological Society" Northwest Chapter.  He continues his work through his Astonishing Revelations' Ministries.
